this is sophia eating a big piece of squid.her dad took the photo with his phone to show me her chowing down...wade and uncle mat took soph for chinese food and apparently squid and veggies were a hit to the point they were saying, "if you don't eat some more beef, you can't have any more squid."
they were both pretty impressed with her... uncle mat had her chowing down on big pieces of raw fish at the sushi bar the other day too.. go sophia!
the other hilarious thing that happened today was this: we were eating lunch and sophia wanted to get down from the table and made the sign for "all done" with her hands when her mouth was full. the sign is waving both hands in the air. i said, to her, "sign language is something you can show the new baby." wade chimed in and said, "sophia, will you show the baby sign language?" and so sophia leaned over towards my belly and waved her hands in the air at my belly! needless to say we cracked up!

Hi Sophia, I showed Garet, Judah, and Caleb your pictures from your blog. They liked the one of you phoning someone on the calculator, and the eating squid one. They laughed a lot. They liked the sign language story too. We need you to teach Sarah some sign language next time you are together. We really like uncle Matt a lot so make sure you really enjoy having him at your house for Christmas. We have an advent wreath where we light a candle every week before Christmas. We only have one candle left we haven't lit yet. I really don't like much seafood so if we go out somewhere together you can haave all my raw fish!! love Auntie Caroline

thanks for posting.. sophia is such a big girl wow time flies.. loved hearing from you guys.. miss you this christmas.. having spent the last two with you we know you will have a good one. what are you doing to top that turducken thing wade did last year.. miss you lots.
oh we are doing turducken again, we figure we can't top that!
