Yesterday Sophia sang me another Psalm.
This is the singing God
This is the singing God
There is no fear in God
God is very brave
God is taller than you, Mum
God is taller than me
God is taller than those clowns who walk on stilts
God is taller than the pickle in Dave and the Giant Pickle
(and did you know those soldiers who shot him were very very small?)
God has you in his heart
God has you in his heart
God has you in his heart
(I think the 'selah' line for me was "God is taller than those clowns who walk on stilts". Sandra thinks it is metaphorical those people who set themselves up to be bigger than God. Hmmmmm.)

wow, that is great. I love when my kids have these beautiful, innocent pure thoughts on God. No one is judging her, she is not trying to impress, she is just speaking out of the overflow of what is in her.
The song that Sophia read totally touched my heart on Saturday. Simple truth, simple beauty, DEEP impact.
Thanks for posting it.
I can't really say how much this poem changed my life at camp.
Love Erin.
